Hi, I’m Sandra — a photographer who fell in love with capturing life back in 2014, and honestly, I haven’t put my camera down since. In 2018, I opened my own studio and discovered that what I really love is telling people’s stories in the most natural and beautiful way possible.
Alongside photography, I also worked for many years as a pediatric nurse with newborns and expecting moms. Caring for little ones and fresh moms shaped the way I approach my photography today: with patience, gentleness, and an understanding of just how fleeting and precious each stage of life is.
I grew up in Germany, but a few years ago I traded castles and Christmas markets for palm trees and sunshine here in Oviedo. I’m a proud mom of two wonderful, already grown-up daughters. Outside of photography, I love traveling, hiking, running, line dancing, decorating (and redecorating), reading, and finding creative ways to make life beautiful.
At the heart of it all, I’m someone who loves finding beauty – in people, in nature, in everyday life (and sometimes in a really good glass of red wine). That’s exactly what I hope to capture for you: not just how life looks, but how it feels.

I bring not only love and passion, but also years of experience working with newborns, expecting moms, and families. To make your session feel even more special, I can provide cozy props like baskets, blankets, hairbands, or outfits, if you’d like them. And if you want a few posed images along the way, that’s no problem; your session can include both the natural, candid moments and gentle, timeless portraits of your little one.
By coming to your home, we skip the stress of packing bags, rushing through traffic, or trying to entertain a newborn in a studio. Everything you need is already there: comfort, warmth, and the spaces that feel most like you. This way, your photos capture not just how your family looks, but how it feels in this season of life.
From cozy indoor moments to sunlit outdoor spots, I’ll capture your story wherever it feels most natural. I adore photographing maternity and lifestyle portraits in charming locations – quiet parks, winding nature trails, or meaningful corners of the city. We can even meet at your favorite coffee shop or any place that feels truly yours, so every photo reflects the warmth, personality, and special moments of your life.

SMALL THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
What makes me happy are simple, joyful moments: getting lost in a good book like The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, savoring a glass of red wine, spending an evening with country music and line dancing, and sharing coffee with my daughters. These little pleasures are the moments that make life feel full and bright.
IF I WASN´T A PHOTOGRAPHER..
I’d be crafting cozy corners filled with books I love to read, candles that smell too good, and little treasures from antique shops. I have an eye for the tiniest details, from the perfect throw to the right flicker of light, because decorating isn’t just about how a space looks, it’s about how it feels. However, I honestly can’t imagine not being a photographer.
THE PLACES I’VE BEEN & THE ONES I DREAM OF
Some of my favorite places I’ve visited include Australia, though it was a long time ago, and Sweden, where I witnessed the most magical sunset surrounded by the silence of nature and wildlife. I love the dramatic beauty of the Dolomites in Italy, and the charm of cities like Charleston, Lisbon, and Prague has stayed with me. One day, I hope to explore New Zealand with my two girls, renting a camper and discovering its landscapes together. Traveling, for me, is about moments of awe, connection, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
WHAT I CAN'T RESIST
Anything pumpkin: pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin candles, pumpkin everything. A good glass of red wine (Lagrein from Italy, please), wandering into any bookstore, and diving into a Kristin Hannah novel are basically guaranteed to make my day. And yes, I have a soft spot for Kaiserschmarrn because life is too short not to eat fluffy Austrian pancakes whenever possible.
